01Who we are
Enquire Core designs, builds and manages bespoke, done-for-you enquiry-response systems for businesses. Enquire Core was founded by Harris Charles. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Enquire Core. We are responsible for (the "controller" of) the personal information collected through this website.

02What information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:
- Website forms. When you request a Free Enquiry Audit or contact us through the website, we collect the details you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if given) and your message. We also record which form you used and the date and time it was submitted.
- Emails. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
This website has no customer login or account system, and does not use analytics, tracking pixels, tag managers or advertising tools. The website itself does not intentionally collect IP addresses or track your behaviour. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) in order to deliver the website securely — see "Who we share information with" below.
Please do not include sensitive information (for example, health information) in the form. We do not need it to respond to your enquiry.
03How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- reply to your enquiry or audit request;
- understand your business and how you currently handle enquiries;
- prepare and discuss a proposal if you are interested in working with us;
- keep a record of our correspondence with you;
- keep the website and our records secure and working properly.
We do not use your information for marketing mailing lists, and we do not sell it. We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
04Our lawful basis
UK data protection law requires us to have a valid reason to use your information:
- Steps before a contract. If you ask us about our services or request an audit with a view to working with us, we use your details to take the steps you have asked for before any agreement is made.
- Legitimate interests. For general enquiries, keeping records of our correspondence, and keeping the website secure, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us and running our business properly. We only do this where it is reasonable and does not override your rights.
- Legal obligation. Where we need to keep certain records to meet legal requirements.
You decide whether to submit the form. We do not ask for your consent to process ordinary enquiries because we rely on the bases above, and we do not currently collect marketing consent because we do not run a marketing system.
05Where your information is stored
The website is hosted, and its service infrastructure provided, through Lovable. Form submissions are stored in the website database, which runs on Supabase infrastructure through Lovable Cloud. Where these providers process information outside the UK, we expect appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law to be in place.
07How long we keep information
We keep website enquiry and audit submissions for up to 24 months from the date they are submitted. After that they are securely deleted, unless there is a legitimate reason or legal requirement to keep them longer (for example, if you have become a customer or there is an ongoing matter).
This period applies to website enquiries only. If you become a customer, how long data is kept under your paid service is set out in your separate agreement with us.
08Keeping information secure
We use reputable infrastructure providers and access controls to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
09Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information;
- object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask for your information to be transferred to you or another organisation, where applicable.
Some rights only apply in certain circumstances. To make a request, email harris.charles@enquirecore.com. We will normally respond within one month and there is usually no charge.
11Concerns and complaints
If you have any questions or concerns about how we use your information, please contact us first at harris.charles@enquirecore.com and we will do our best to help.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example if we connect new services or change how the website works. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
